“Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly”

I think that this quote means that when you are about to do something than you should think about what you are going to to and also ask yourself that what you are gonna do if it's right or wrong. This is saying this so that people think about it before they do the wrong thing and cause something else. They should think whether what they are going to do if it's wrong or right so they can be able to choose the right only. An example is about the kid who found the money and thought if he should waste it on himself or give it to someone who deserves it and he chose the right thing to do which he gave it to a soldier.
