“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

When you lie then you will lie again and again. When you tell a lie then you have to lie again so that they will not suspect nothing about the lie and then you keep lying. You will keep lying till you are ok and they are not thinking that you are still lying. Once you lie it's a small lie but then as you keep lying the lie will grow even bigger and bigger. If you keep lying eventually people are going to figure out about it. They will soon know your lying and they are not gonna like you anymore. They will dislike you and they will not believe you ever again. An example is that once one of my cousins was lying but was only a little lie then the lie became even bigger and then they found he was lying and now they don't believe him when he say something

“Always do right”

What i think this means is that you always have to good in life. You have to always choose the right and not do bad thing or be rude to other because that is something you should never do. You have to be good in school and always do what you are told. Never ever do bad thing like drugs do not smoke at even if your friends are forcing you too and saying if you don't do it your not cool. Stay away from alcohol and parties late at night where they do bad things. To always do right is too not choose the wrong and for that you must be responsible.

“It's better to be alone than to be in bad company.”

I think this means that it's better to be by yourself than to be with bad people who behave bad. This is saying that when you are alone than you will do good things but when you are with a group of bad friends than you will do bad things. The bad company are usually friends who smoke or drink alcohol and then they like force you to the same as them. Being alone you are more productive and you will not choose the wrong that way.

World War 2

World War 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.

2. A challenge that i am facing rn is focusing on school more than other thing going on. What i am doing to prevent this i am not looking around or at other people so i won't get distracted. Another challenge is time i don't really have time to do the things i want to do. What i do is do the things that matter most first so then i have time to do what i want.

i think this means that when you are in shape than your body functions better. like when you been healthy so then your brain works better and so you are more intelligent. when you are fit then you are capable of doing more than what you often do. you can do better and do more things with your body. people were choosing the wrong often so in the future they did something really bad like kill the president.

Education: To become a professional health science librarian, you must first complete a high school education with courses in science, math, and information technology and management. A bachelor’s degree in life sciences should then be followed by a master’s degree in library science (MLS), which is licensed through the American Library Association. Typical coursework in the master’s program includes classes in biomedicine, literature, communications, library management and organization, bibliographic resource usage, and standard cataloging systems.

Reflection: i would not like to be one because i do not like to do what they do.

Thanksgiving break 

For thanksgiving break i was at home because it was raining a lot so i didn't want to go out. When it wasn't raining i went to the santa monica pier so from there we’d go to the mall. At the mall we just got my brother his iphone and also bought lots of cloths. I also went to city walk just to walk around and see what there is to buy. I met one of my aunt in law's mom. A movie i watched was arrival that movie was lit it's about when spaceships land in 12 different locations. A sport event i played was the quarter finals and we won the other team so we advance to the next round. I also watches the madrid derby which is real madrid vs atletico madrid. In that game real madrid won. Something else i did was eat food together as family and we were all together which is something that rarely ever happens because not everyone can make it to a family reunion.

Manners maketh man
 I think that this quote means that the manners you have make you into the person you are today.you have to be polite to others and not treat em bad and also based on your behavior.  I also think that this means that the way you treat others than that will make you into the person you will be in the future so you have to start now making good decisions to be great person later in life.  The way you have acted has shaped you into the person you are today. You can either be respectful or you can act disrespectful. If you are respectful than you have good manners so it might shaped you into a good person and if you have bad manners than you might be a pad person always choosing the wrong. An example for good manners is when you act right and not disrespectful towards others. If you don't have manners than you will make yourself into a ctw person.

“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it”

I think that this quote means that when you know something is not right to do then you are not suppose to do it because then later you will get consequences. You can get in trouble for doing something that is not right. You have to choose the right and not do something your not suppose to. The second part of the quote i think it means dont go around and saying things that are not true. Don't make up things about people and tell everyone. An example is that if someone tells you a rumor of some else don't go around telling others because you don't know it's true unless you heard from that person.

“Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody else expects of you. Never excuse yourself”.

I think what this is saying that you have to set a higher expectation than what is required by you. Also that you should not blame the things you do on others and take the blame for your own actions. To make sure you do better than what they expect from you. You have to be responsible with what is expected. I also think that this means that when you are expected to do something that you should set the standard higher and do much more. An example is that when you are caught smoking do not blame it on your friends and say they made . you should be able to take the blame for your own actions.

                        Veterans Day

• A public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of world war 1 (November 11) to honor us veterans and victims of all wars. It replaced Armistice Day in 1954.

• It honors military veterans that is persons who served in the united states armed force.
• It is important to continue honoring veterans because it is a way of acknowledging the sacrifices they have made while serving their country. Without the service of veterans, Americans may not have the freedoms they do today.
•  1) flowers/flags on the graves of veterans. 
• 2)Proudly display your American flag. 
• 3)Help a homeless veterans through VA services.
• 4)Order a pizza. On 11/11/11 for every order placed, papa john's will donate $1 to the USO.
• 5)Volunteer at a VA Hospital.
• I feel like it is a good thing that they celebrate this holiday. The people that were there should be remembered. They fought for people's freedom so they should be respected. I also think that the homeless veterans should have a home. They fought for freedom so they should be taken care of. They should not be treated bad.

 

These are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity:

1. Have the courage to say no.
2. Have the courage to face the truth.
3. Do the right thing because it is right.

I think this means is that you should not be afraid to do whats right for you and say what's right for you. This is saying that you should be able to say no to the things that are not good for you. Like if someone offered you a cigarette or a beer than you should be able to say to them. You have to own up to the things they did and not lie about it. Like if someone is saying the truth about something you did than you have to up and say you did do that. You have to choose the right and not do the wrong thing. You have to do what is best for you, like if someone told you to do something wrong then you should choose the right and not do it.

"he that walketh with wise men shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed" 

i think this quote is saying that those who hang out with the wise will have to do good and those who hang out with fools are gonna do bad things in life. this quote is telling you that you get to choose the group of friends that you hang out with that you get to choose whether you hang out out with wise people and actually do something with your life or be fool and go no where. this means that you have to choose the right and so the better decision is to hang out with the wise people so that you can do good in life and go to college. an example is that the kid from the video was hanging out with the wrong people so he would do bad things and worry his father but then he switched schools and started to hang out with wise people and then he started to do better and then he graduate high school and did not end up on the streets. 

Vanguard vs Tornado

 tornadoes where a team that came from a school were most kids were not let out so that they can go to the games and play. they had to do real good so they were let out o play. tornado did not have any fans  cause no one ever went to see them play. when they were gonna play against vanguard. two kids from vanguard then told some of the people that went to see them play to cheer for the tornadoes. the tornado team was surprised because they never had people cheering for them. this impacted there lives because it made them feel better made it feel like people out there have someone care about them.

I think this is saying when people talk about you and they say good things about you. when someone says your name then they talk about all the good thing that you have done in the past. they talk about all the history they have made over the time. this better than anything you can achieve in life. example is Ronaldo who is doing a lot of great thing right now in soccer and later they are going to say his name and they are going to say good things about him and all the accomplishments he has made.

i think this quote means that when someone is talking about you and say your name they are saying something good. this means that your name defines you like ether they talk good or bad about you. i also think this quote means that it is better to have a name for yourself than being rich or what you can do. once i heard my name and they were talking bad about me so that is not great riches.

i think this is saying to always choose the right. you have to choose the right when your friends tell you to do something when you know it's wrong. when your friends ask you to something that is not right then you have to know to do the right thing even if you the only one that thinks that is the wrong thing to do. i once was told to something in school that was wrong and everyone was telling me to do but i stood up and told them i was not gonna do it.

i think that this quote means that you got to be good person in order to be a champion. when you are a ctr person and you do the right thing all the time then you will become a champion. when you make yourself a great person then you make yourself a champ.

"goal setting is goal getting. set and get"
i think this means that when you set yourself a goal then you are gonna achieve that goal as long as you work hard on it and do play around. when you set yourself a goal then your gonna get it at the end. you have to work hard on that goal in order for you to get it. once i set my goal and my goal was to pass math class in middle school and well i worked hard on that goal all year long and at the end of the year i had passed both of my math calls and that was a goal that i set and got.

i think this quotes means that when you have a goal then there are certain things that you have to do in order to achieve your goal that you have. your goal keeps building up all the time so that every time you meet it you can go higher. make a different goal every time you meet the last one. your goals build up at the end so that it can help you accomplish the big goal. your goal keeps adding up so that you can go higher than where you are already.
